Located in Jomthong district, 15 min drive from Bangkok CBD, Poomjai Garden, a century-old lichee garden by Bangkhuntien canal is a showpiece for greenspace conservation and a hub for discovering the old capital of Bangkok garden that still preserve the aspects of local traditional values & wisdom.
Poomjai Garden, has recently opened for visitors who seek for the serenity by the historic canal amidst the bustling city and for those who are interested to experience the Thai wisdom.
 
Led by our vision to preserve the local history and to be the very last green lung of Bangkok for all to cherish, we have been earned some recognition by the government including the Tree of Siam by  the Mistry of Tourism (2018) and Geographical Indication for lichee trees by the Ministry of Commerce (2018), and SMEs provincial championship in local tourism (2019).

HISTORY
 
Poomjai Garden is located in the centre of the lower bend of Chaophraya River Delta; belonged to Ngern-chuklin family since granted in 1881, during the reign of King Rama V.
 
In 2015, Poomjai Garden was founded by Ms. Porntip Tiensup--the 4th generation; with the intention to preserve the family heritage that had passed from one generation to another; as well as, to spark the pride of the long-history homeland.​
FOUNDER
Aey Tiensup was born in 1963. Daughter of a gardener family that lived in Bangkhuntien (Jomthong in present), the district that was well-known for its fruits garden.
